Resend is what SendGrid would look like if it were rebuilt in 2024 for the React/Next.js generation. The API is simple, the deliverability is honest, and the React Email library lets you compose mails as components instead of hand-rolling HTML tables.
Free tier is 3,000 mails a month and 100 a day — enough to run a small SaaS sign-in flow forever. Domain verification is DKIM-only and takes about ten minutes if your DNS provider has a one-click button.
