Vocemo bundles six jobs that people normally pay for separately — a dictation app, a meeting notetaker, a text-to-speech reader, a translator, a screen-question assistant and a PDF conversion site — into one macOS application. The distinguishing claim is where the work happens: the models run on the Mac's own chip rather than on a server, so recordings, documents and notes are not uploaded and the features keep working with the network switched off.

Voice typing works in any app on the Mac while a key is held, writing numbers as digits and stripping filler words before the text is inserted. Meeting recordings, whether captured live or dropped in afterwards, are transcribed with speaker labels and reduced to a summary with decisions and to-dos, with no bot joining the call. A screen-region tool answers questions about a chart, an error message or a form, and can put live subtitles on anything playing. The documents side covers 21 operations, including merging and splitting PDFs, adding a password, signing, converting a PDF to an editable Word file, making a scan searchable and turning receipts or a bank statement into a spreadsheet.

The installer is 6.6 MB because models are fetched only for the features actually used and shut down when idle; there are no models to pick and no account to create. The site publishes an itemised list of what does and does not leave the Mac — model downloads and a once-daily licence check go online, recordings, documents, transcripts and screen regions do not.
