Awnsy

Awnsy is a menu-bar translator for macOS: select text anywhere, or drag a box around an image, video or scanned PDF, and get an instant translation in a popup over the window. The default model runs entirely on-device (offline, no account, no API key); users can optionally add their own OpenAI or Anthropic key for cloud-quality translation. Text translation is free; screen-area translation is free for 10 tries, then a paid Pro tier.
